Christophe Claude Maillard obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg in 1989. For one year he participated in a research program at the University of Bremen (Germany) in the field of product liability. After having been the assistant of Prof. Pierre Tercier and Prof. Jean-Baptiste Zufferey at the University of Fribourg, he obtained his law degree in 1997. He then joined † Me Henri Steinauer before founding the law firm MBT|Avocats in 2008, which later became mbp avocats.
In 2016, he founded the law firm EDIFICE AVOCAT-E-S (under the name EDIFICE Construction & Immobilier Avocats SA; formerly MBP Construction & Immobilier Avocats SA), mainly dedicated to the practice of construction and real estate law, of which she became a specialist (see porfolio)
In 2007, Christophe Claude Maillard was awarded the diploma of lawyer specialising in construction and real estate law by the Swiss Bar Association and the Institute for Swiss and International Construction Law in Fribourg.
